must be referred by a current Australian registered medical practitioner with an accompanying or faxed letter

Generally, these are available by appointment most mornings between 9 and 1130 am. If needed at other times, if sufficient notice is given, i.e. 72 hour’s notice, this may still be possible.

A simple operational protocol incorporating the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) & the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicne (ACRRM) recommended standards will be sent to a participating practitioner concerned.

Patients consulting without a Professional Supporter are expected to respect the standards recommended by these Colleges for their own wellbeing and privacy. A lay-person protocol will be sent ahead.

In order to get the most out of a Telehealth Consult,

pre consult platform training and/or familarisation by both supporting practitioners or patients are strongly recommended
